What Is DAXXIFY®?
DAXXIFY is an injectable neuromodulator treatment that is FDA-approved for smoothing away glabellar lines, or frown lines. Frown lines and other dynamic wrinkles, such as crow’s feet, develop and deepen as a result of repetitive facial muscle contractions.
DAXXIFY injections work to release dynamic wrinkles by preventing the treated muscle from receiving the nerve signals that would normally cause it to contract. When the targeted muscle relaxes, the overlying wrinkles or creases are released, restoring a more youthful and refreshed appearance.
DAXXIFY’s active ingredient is botulinum toxin type A, but its unique formulation is powered by a peptide that binds it to the nerve receptors, producing a longer lasting result than similar products like Botox®, Jeuveau®, Dysport®, and Xeomin®. DAXXIFY is also the first injectable neuromodulator that is free of animal or human by-products.

What to Expect
During Treatment
Your Daxxify injections will be performed by Dr. Erickson in one of our private treatment rooms. Dr. Erickson is an exceptionally skilled and gentle injector, so her patients experience minimal-to-no discomfort during treatment. Daxxify treatments can typically be completed in about 20 minutes.
After Treatment
No downtime is necessary after a Daxxify treatment. You will be able to leave our office and head back to work or otherwise carry on with your day right away. To promote optimal results, do not apply pressure to the treated area for several hours after your injections. You will also want to wait 24 hours before exercising.
Initial improvements are typically noticeable within a week. Your final Daxxify results can be anticipated after two weeks and can last up to six months.
