HELPING YOU LIVE LIFE MORE BEAUTIFULLYHeadingMOXI® is a revolutionary non-ablative laser treatment that offers a gentler approach to skin resurfacing. Board-certified dermatologist Dr. Quenby Erickson is a top provider of MOXI in Chicago who has helped countless patients revitalize their skin without the need for significant downtime, thanks to this advanced laser treatment.

What Is MOXI?

MOXI is a laser resurfacing treatment that can correct signs of photo damage, decrease hyperpigmentation, reduce pore size, and treat melasma. Due to its highly unique fractional laser technology, this treatment can be used on all skin types to achieve healthier and more youthful-looking skin.

MOXI Prejuvenation treatments even work to prevent skin damage from occurring in the future. This gentle technology is perfect for achieving glowing skin and a clear complexion, no matter your existing skin tone.

Its non-ablative 1927 nm wavelength laser system specifically targets the water within the cells. This triggers the body’s natural healing process, promoting new skin cell growth.

Ideal Candidates for MOXI

The beauty of MOXI is that it works on all different skin types, making this innovative treatment ideal for most individuals. Anyone who is looking to refresh or enhance their skin’s appearance can benefit from undergoing MOXI laser treatment. This treatment is not currently recommended for patients who are pregnant.

How Much Will My MOXI Treatment Cost?

The total price of your MOXI® treatment will depend on your specific cosmetic goals and needs. When you meet with Dr. Erickson for your initial consultation, she will design a personalized treatment plan for you. She will review the plan details, including cost information, at that time.

What to Expect

During Treatment

Each MOXI treatment will be administered by board-certified dermatologist Dr. Quenby Erickson and will take around 10 to 15 minutes to complete. This time may vary depending on the size of the treatment area that the patient wants to have addressed.

Once the treatment area has been adequately cleaned, Dr. Erickson will use the MOXI® handpiece to administer laser energy to the treatment site. The device settings will be adjusted as necessary based on each patient’s individual needs.

After Treatment

Patients can expect about a day of redness and mild swelling following a MOXI® treatment. Additionally, it is common for the treated skin to have a sandpaper-like texture for several days. However, makeup can be worn throughout the healing process.

Most patients will be able to achieve their desired results after a few MOXI treatments. In many cases, Dr. Erickson recommends layering MOXI treatments with Broadband Light (BBL) and other laser treatments for synergistic improvements. Periodic MOXI treatments can be scheduled to maintain and enhance results.
